UNI’s College of Business Administration and its MBA program were named to the list of Best Business Schools by the Princeton Review.
The CPA exam pass rate among UNI’s accounting students is consistently among the highest in the nation – six times the national average in 2010.
By the Numbers
More than 12,000 students currently attend UNI with 92 percent of undergraduates from Iowa.
77 percent of graduates take their first job or attend graduate school in Iowa.
85 percent of students are employed or attending graduate school within six months of getting their degree.
Nearly 25 percent of Iowa’s teachers and 33 percent of school administrators come from UNI with 500 new teachers every year.
The University of Northern Iowa will host James Leach, chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities, at 10 a.m., on Friday, Oct. 26, in the Commons Ballroom on the UNI campus. He will present "Civility in 2012 and Beyond" in conjunction with UNI's Reaching for Higher Ground series.
