Students graduating this weekend are ready to get to work
It’s been an extraordinary year for our graduating senior class. UNI has successfully navigated a largely in-person year amidst a global pandemic. Through it all, we’ve kept UNI strong and delivering on its mission to provide a high-quality, affordable education.
UNI is known for educating Iowans. Our spring graduating seniors tell us that our faculty and staff are dedicated to their success. The tireless academic preparation, strong relationships with faculty and other students, and wide variety of out-of-class experiences have helped create a strong foundation for their future.
Approximately 1,500 students are graduating from UNI on Friday and Saturday in both in-person ceremonies at the UNI-Dome and a virtual commencement. Graduates can bring up to six guests to the in-person events, which will also be livestreamed.
UNI offers more than 90 majors to choose from, giving students the opportunity to explore a variety of interests and prepare for success after college. Nearly 95% of UNI students are employed or continuing their education upon graduation.
