UNI MBA Leads to Opportunity in Iowa and Abroad

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the University of Northern Iowa has seen record growth in the past five years due to high demand among companies in Iowa and across the U.S. UNI is a destination for many professionals seeking new employment or promotions due to the high quality, personalized focus of its program, whether through traditional face-to-face MBA curriculum at its Cedar Falls campus, satellite “hometown” locations in Iowa cities Pella, Mason City and Fort Dodge, and international locations in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Business professionals near Mason City, Pella and Fort Dodge have the opportunity to earn an MBA from UNI in rotating programs that cycle through those communities every 4-6 years. A cohort in Mason City is currently wrapping up and a cohort in Pella is planned to start in the summer of 2020. "We've made it easier for more working professionals around the state (and around the world) to benefit from a UNI MBA degree — utilizing the same excellent faculty and AACSB-accredited curriculum as our on-campus program,” said MBA Director Dale Cyphert.

In Iowa, five of the 10 bachelor’s or higher occupations with the greatest number of annual openings are business focused. UNI is providing personalized educational opportunities that lead to high-demand professional opportunities for students that meet Iowa’s workforce needs.
