There's No Place Like Homecoming

2018 Homecoming activities will kick-off this Sunday, and campus is gearing up to welcome alumni back with the theme “There's No Place Like Homecoming.”

This year, make sure to stop by the Alumni Welcome Tent across from the UNI Bookstore before the annual Homecoming Parade at 11 a.m. Alumni staff will have complimentary donuts, coffee and Panther giveaway prizes while supplies last.

• → Homecoming Kickoff, 5:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 15, Lawther Field (rain location is Maucker Union)
• → UNI Soccer vs. Drake, 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 17, Cedar Valley Soccer Complex
• → College Hill Homecoming Farmers Market, 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 18, College Hill
• → UNI Volleyball vs. Drake, 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 19, McLeod Center
• → Pep Rally, 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 19, West Gym
• → Panther Pacers Homecoming 5K, 8 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 20

The 2018 Homecoming Parade is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 20, at 11 a.m. The parade is a great way to bring together the university and its alumni and community to celebrate the past, present and future of UNI. This year's grand marshal is Sandy Stevens, '62. The parade route runs along College and 23rd Streets.
