Celebrating Our Graduating Panthers

The University of Northern Iowa will host its annual fall Commencement ceremony at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 16, in the McLeod Center. 560 students will receive their degrees and be ready for their next step. For more than 90% of UNI graduates, that next step will be employment or continuing their education in Iowa.

“My education has taught me the foundations of the finance industry and this will make for a much easier transition to the real world. Outside of my studies, UNI has provided me with multiple opportunities for career development,” said Mitchell Dellamunth, who is graduating on Saturday with a degree in finance and real estate from Walford, Iowa. “UNI professors care about students' education and are always willing to help out. The education and experience received will prepare you to be successful in whatever path you choose to go down.” Following graduation, Dellamunth will be working in Cedar Rapids at the Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust as a portfolio manager.

Dellamunth won't be the only Panther adding purple and gold to the Iowa workforce. UNI graduates work in 99% of Iowa’s school districts and in all 99 counties. UNI educates Iowans for Iowa. An investment in UNI is an investment in Iowa.

Congratulations to all the students graduating on Saturday.

For family and friends who are unable to attend, the ceremony will be live streamed starting at 11 a.m. at live.uni.edu.
